Save Time and Increase Sales with Virtual Patient Management
The Problem
At most practices, 70% of hearing aid sales are to new patients.
30% of hearing aid purchases are by established patients and 40% of patients are only somewhat satisfied with their hearing aids.
These ratios explain why many are selling hearing aids to less than 5% of their patients per year.
Why?
Busy audiologists lose track of large segments of their patient base, relying on mailings and ‘clean and checks’ to stay connected. These appointments have high no-show rates and fill schedules with non-billable services.
Patients show hesitancy to call for all sorts of reasons, leaving a huge group of patients disconnected, looking beyond their original audiologist for answers.

How does it work?
SEngage® Hearing Virtual Patient Management
Tested Not Treated
SEngage® monitors patients with hearing loss who have not purchased hearing aids. The system follows up on co-morbidities, perceived hearing changes, and recent medical history that could affect the patient’s ongoing hearing loss.
Hearing Aid Follow-up
SEngage® connects to the newly fitted hearing loss patients within the first week, then later in the first month to measure hearing aid acceptance, compliance, and effectiveness. On an ongoing basis, hearing aid patients are provided hearing aid check-ins as a means of identifying patient issues, new features, or needed interventions.
Outcomes Measures
Within 90 days of being fit, hearing aid patients complete outcomes measurements along with measures of their hearing aid experience. The system automatically schedules follow-ups to track a patient’s outcome over time.
